Squash and stretch animation.
Continuing our work on timing and spacing in animation, I animated a cartoon ball using the squash and stretch method. Using Arches and lines to guide the ball into looking like it had been dropped and was bouncing then rolling along the floor.
Starting with a few arches, then adding the bouncing ball in, making sure to stretch it as it is travelling, squash it when it kits the ground, and make it the perfect shape while going slower.
