Creating Restrictive props - Railings

Now that the stairs and bushes were done, and I had chosen to make a potentially bigger level, I set out on making the railings that prevent players from falling from the second floor within the café.

Railings in Maya:

These pieces are modular so will fit together no matter how big the space.

These railings only needed to be textured simply, with an iron surrounding and glass in the middle. The glass prevents players from being able to camp up behind the railing, making entering either the building or the upstairs nearly impossible. There will however be props in the future that can be hidden behind within the building so this shouldn't offer an issue. These railings could potentially be vaulted over if vaulting were a mechanic within the game.

I also then created a simple staircase railing using unity cylinders to stop players from falling off of the staircase while running up or down them.
