Art & Design: 3D Models

After doing my initial drawings, i felt confident that i knew what 3D models i needed for my scene, and so i decided to start modelling in Maya. Whilst modelling i cam across a few problems such as trying to keep my poly count to a minimum, and creating odd shapes such as details on lamp posts. Although after searching some online tutorials and watching some YouTube videos, i figured out how to do these things with as low poly count as possible.



I then went on to texture my models by UV mapping them then transferring these into Photoshop to do some custom textures before importing them back into Maya to texture the models.


This is just one example of a custom texture i applied to the brick wall model.
