Games Design: Research into Mesh Blocking and Mesh Blocking Techniques.

 In order to make a Mesh Blocked game I first had to research exactly what mesh blocking was and the techniques used when making a mesh blocked game.


Block Meshing is building a game without all the aesthetic art, using simple blocks and colours, an outsider should be able to see what the game you are making is, grey blocks as walls, Red as enemies and green or yellow as rewards/ exits.


Block Meshing helps a developer to see how the game will run without any of the good looking assets, if a game is fun and runs well in block mesh form, it can only get better when art is added.


Mechanics and Level design are heavily focused upon when a game is being mesh blocked.
